New board members appointed by ACRA – effective April 1, 2017

Three new members are appointed to the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) board by Minister of Finance, Mr. Heng Swee Keat

Mr. Lee Wai Fai, United Overseas Bank’s group CFO; Ms. Ameera Ashraf, Wong Partnership’s head of competition and regulatory practice, Mr Ong Khiaw Hong, CEO, are the three new assigns of the ACRA board.

The board of members will commence their duties on April 1, 2017.

Mr. Heng additionally reappointed three board members: Mr. Lee Boon Ngiap, assistant managing director of the capital markets group at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS); Singapore Business Federation CEO Ho Meng Kit and Professor Tan Cheng Han, who is a faculty from the National University of Singapore.

The ministry and the board additionally communicated gratefulness to resigning members, who are Professor Ho Yew Kee, Mr. Yap Chee Keong, and Mr. Kenneth Yap.
